Topaz Mt/Dugway Geodes Field Trip September 2025 Preface
This field trip is sponsored by the Roseville Rock Rollers Gem and Mineral Society and the
Field Trip Chairman’s Association (CO-OP), with the inclusion of additional member
societies in good standing with the California Federation of Mineralogical Societies
(CFMS). All participants must agree to abide by the American Federation of Mineralogical
Societies (AFMS) Code of Ethics https://www.amfed.org
Both collecting locations are under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Bureau of Land
Management (BLM) and are nationally authorized rockhound collecting areas open to all
regardless of society membership.
Those who wish to join the societies escorted field trips must sign the consent waiver.
Those wishing updates on trip cancellation due to inclement weather or other reasons
beyond our control must contact the field trip leader at least one week prior to arrival.
