2024 ANNUAL CFMS-AFMS SHOW & CONVENTION
The National Gem, Mineral, Jewelry & Fossil Show!
On behalf of the Ventura Gem & Mineral Society, I’m pleased to invite you to the 2024 Annual Show & Convention of the California Federation of Mineralogical Societies and the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies. The show takes place May 24-26 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, where you’ll find the refreshing breeze of the beach a short walk away.
Our show theme is Seaside Gems at Ventura and we hope you’ll not only attend but also install an exhibit, perhaps one showcasing minerals or fossils from around the nation, an educational display, meteorites, your special lapidary and jewelry artworks, or a collection that really rocks!
We anticipate nearly 50 dealers along with demonstrators and a fun, fun Kids’ Booth—so be sure to bring the kids and grandkids. We’re also planning one fantastic silent auction with opportunities for great material each and every hour of the 3-day show. We’ve been stockpiling primo material that’ll look great in your own rock pile back home. And don’t forget our Raffle! Try your luck at winning something special to take home along with bragging rights.
We will provide a list with associated web addresses for those wishing to visit museums within convenient range of Ventura, such as Rancho La Brea, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, or the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. These make for great stops on your way to the show or during the drive back home.
We look forward to hosting you at our hometown seaside gem of Ventura!
